He founded the Academy of AstroPsychology and lectures internationally on the integration of astrology and psychology. His recent books include Depth Analysis of the Natal Chart. Best astrology book I've ever read

Without question this is the best book on astrology I've ever read. For a basic, nuts and bolts introduction to the topic, it is head and shoulders above anything else out there. I consider it my astrological Bible and never grow tired of reading it. Whenever I have an astrological question, I can find the answer in this book. It describes signs, houses, planets, and aspects in a manner that is comprehensive and psychologically sophisticated. Each variable has its own list of keywords, which makes following Perry's rules of chart synthesis intuitive and systematic. Think of building blocks; he shows how each piece fits together in a way that enables you to make interpretations that are progressively more complex. Introduction to AstroPsychology is the ultimate astrology manual for the modern practitioner. Nobody else has the kind of depth and clarity that Perry brings to the subject. I would be lost without this book.

Great text!!!

I've read literally hundreds of astrology books over the years and if I were forced to pick only one text that I felt would best explicate astrology to the modern reader, this is the one I would choose. Glenn Perry has combined years of actual practice with decades of thinking and contemplation about how astrology may best be used to serve people and produced this beautiful tome directed toward both the professional astrologer, mental health professionals, and the lay reader curious about the topic in the 21st century. It's a wonderful breakdown of the various symbol sets used in astrology - signs, planets, houses, and aspects demonstrating their inner logical cohesiveness and suggesting how astrology and depth psychology can partner a future together. This book is highly recommended.

Excellent for the Beginner and Advanced Astrologers and/or Therapists

This book is extremely well written so it was great to see this book published. I have used it for many years in teaching beginners and I've recommended it to therapists who are interested in learning astrology and are already well versed in archetypal psychology. For myself, even after 25+ years of studying astrology, I admire and appreciate Dr. Perry's logical, systematic approach. The depth of his interpretations of the signs, planets and aspects cover just about everything you need to know in one book. The extensive vocabulary of keywords for the astrological symbols is the best I have ever seen. You will be very glad you added this one to your library.
